A man busy with his mobile phone was shot dead by an unidentified gunman for still unknown reasons in Antipolo City before dawn yesterday.
Col. Felipe Maraggun, Rizal Provincial Police Office (PPO) director, identified the fatality who died on the spot due to a lone gunshot wound to the back of his head as alias Michael, of legal age.
The unidentified gunman is still at large and the subject of a manhunt.

Investigation showed that the incident occurred in front of the Lungsod Silangan Main Office, Barangay Sta. Cruz at around 3 a.m. CCTV footage showed that Michael was using his Mobile phone when a man approached him from behind and, without warning, shot him before boarding a motorcycle and fleeing.
