Antipolo Mayor Jun Ynares revealed that the Lungsod Silangan Transport Service and Multi-Purpose Cooperative (LSTSMPC) received 10 new public utility vehicles from Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC).
Ynares said the new PUVs will be used in the following commuter routes: Cogeo to Cubao via Marcos Highway (vice versa);
Palo Alto — SM Marikina Riverbank; Sampaloc, Tanay – Cogeo Gate 2; and Padilla – Cubao (vice versa).

The PUV is ideal for transporting heavy loads and numerous passengers while still offering decent fuel efficiency.
“Aside from lessening the number of vehicles on the road and gasoline consumption, these will also ease traffic and lessen pollution,” Ynares said.
