Akbayan party-list representatives Chel Diokno, Perci Cendaña, and Dadah Ismula joined the “Trillion Peso March” anti-corruption rally at the People Power Monument, EDSA, Quezon City on Sunday.
Thousands gathered in the rally to demand accountability over alleged large-scale corruption in government projects.
By 9:30 a.m., an estimated 3,000 protesters had already converged at the EDSA landmark, with more participants continuing to arrive.
The demonstration is one of several simultaneous protests taking place across the country calling for action against graft and misuse of public funds.
