THE Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) – National Capital Region (NCR) yesterday jobseekers those looking to participate in the special Philippine offshore gaming operators (POGO) job fair set on January 28 and 29 to pre-register for the event at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
In a social media post, the DOLE-NCR said it would be better if the prospective participants would pre-register via the official Jobstreet Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/JobstreetPH), or the event’s link (https://cloud.email.jobstreet.com/Career_Con_2025_Preregistration?fbclid=IwY2xjawH601NleHRuA2FlbQIxM).
“For a faster application process, jobseekers can pre-register,” said the DOLE-NCR.
Applicants are also encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resumes and other needed documents.
“Don’t forget to bring your resumes and pre-employment documents,” said DOLE-NCR.
Nearly 5,000 jobs are set to be offered by 126 local employers and six overseas companies from Metro Manila in finance, shipping and logistics, food and beverage, retail, and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), among others.
Aside from the job fair, the event will also feature a one-stop shop (OSS) to assist jobseekers in completing their pre-employment requirements.
Participating agencies in the OSS include the Social Security System (SSS), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), Pag-IBIG Fund, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
Since the ban on POGO was announced, the DOLE has already conducted three special job fairs in response to the directive of President Marcos Jr. for the agency to assist displaced POGO workers land new jobs.
