He said he would continue with his main programs to ensure that basic services such as medical and health assistance to the needy are available.

Go’s main program is the establishment of “Malasakit Centers,” a chain of one-stop-shop centers for medical and financial assistance provided by various agencies of the Philippine government, such as PhilHealth, PCSO, and the DSWD.

“Lagi kong tinatandaan ang sinabi sa akin ni Tatay Digong: ‘Just do what is right. Unahin ang interes ng bayan, unahin ang kapwa Pilipino, at hinding-hindi ka magkakamali dyan (I always keep in my mind what Tatay Digong told me: Just do what is right. Serve first the interest of the country, the Filipino and you’ll never go wrong).”
