ON the eve of the deadline for the registration of online campaign platforms for the October 2025 Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections (BPE), the Commission on Elections (Comelec) yesterday reported a low number of applications filed since July 14.
Data from the Comelec showed that only 29 candidates and political parties have filed their applications for the registration of their online campaign platforms.
These include 10 applications from regional parliamentary political parties (RPPPs) and 19 from candidates for district representatives.
To note, there are around 100 candidates for district representatives, and seven participating RPPPs for the October 13 polls.
The Comelec has directed all official social media accounts and pages, websites, podcasts, blogs, vlogs, and other online and internet-based campaign platforms of candidates and parties participating in the Bangsamoro polls to be registered with the poll body.
The Comelec reminded candidates and RPPPs participating in the BPE to have their online campaign platforms registered until 5 p.m. today.
The poll body said the online registration form may be accessed via https://forms.office.com/r/adzkqUii1H.
On the other hand, the Comelec downloadable forms may be accessed via https://comelec.gov.ph/?r=2025NLE/TFKKKH/Downloadable Forms.
