THE Food and Drug Administration (FDA) yesterday warned the public about the
counterfeit anti-rabies serum, “anti-rabies serum (equine) with brand name Equirab, 200 IU/mL (1000 IU/5 mL) solution for injection (IM/SC) vial (Batch no. A06823032, Expiry Date: 11/2025).”
In Advisory No. 2025-0091, it also said the fake product, which has a print appearance not comparable with the standard features of the registered product, “may pose potential danger or injury to consumers.”

“Anyone found selling the said counterfeit drug product will be penalized,” stressed the FDA,” it added.
