THE Eastern police district (EPD) seized nearly P1 million worth of suspected dangerous drugs and arrested 109 persons during a weeklong series of buy-bust operations in Marikina, Mandaluyong, Pasig and San Juan.
Seized were 139.14 grams of suspected shabu, 2 grams of marijuana and 4 grams of high-grade marijuana (kush) during 39 buy-bust operations from February 8-14. The total amount of drugs seized was P952,392.00.
Aside from the drug operations, police apprehended 62 most wanted persons and 20 for illegal gambling activities.
The suspects are detained at the EPD custodial facility and will face appropriate charges.
