THE Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) – VIII will hold a series of sectoral consultations as part of its minimum wage rate review process for Eastern Visayas workers.
In a social media post, the Eastern Visayas wage board announced the conduct of four sectoral consultations in different cities.
“(There will be) sectoral consultations on minimum wage for industries and kasambahays,” said the Eastern Visayas wage board.
Invited to participate are representatives of the management sector, employee sector, kasambahays, and other interested parties.
The first consultation is set on August 27 (8 a.m.) at the Sabin Resort Hotel in Ormoc City.
Another consultation is set on September 03 (8 a.m.) at the Maasin Country Lodge and Restaurant in Maasin City.
On September 17 (8 a.m.), there will also be a consultation at the Prim Hotel in Borongan City.
Lastly, the RTWPB-VIII will hold consultations on September 18 (8 a.m.) at the Business Development Center of the Northwest Samar State University in Calbayog City.
