DOLE extends deadline for annual wage report submission

PRIVATE establishments now have until July 31 to submit their 2024 Annual Establishment Report on Wages (AERW).

This is after the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) opted to extend the June 30 deadline of the AERW submission.

“The submission deadline for the 2024 Annual Establishment Report on Wages (AERW) has been extended by 30 days! The new deadline is July 31, 2025,” said DOLE in a social media post.

The National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC) said the extension is provided to allow more firms to file their AERWs.

“(This is) to support your continued compliance,” it said.

The agency stressed that compliance is imperative in order to help the government draft better wage rules.

“Your AERW submission helps shape better wage policies,” said the NWPC.

Under Labor Advisory No. 03-2025, all private establishments are required to submit their AERWs as provided under the Labor Code of the Philippines.

The AERW shall include the verified itemized listing of their labor component, specifying the names of their rank-and-file employees, including learners, apprentices, and workers with disabilities, who were hired under the terms prescribed in the employment contracts, and their corresponding salaries and wages.

The 2024 AERW, the DOLE said, must have updated details as of 31 December 2024.
