FOR the second time, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has extended the deadline for private establishments to file their 2024 Annual Establishment Report on Wages (AERW).

In a social media post, the National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC) announced that the new deadline for the 2024 AERW is August 31.

“To support your continued compliance, the submission deadline for the 2024 Annual Establishment Report on Wages has been extended by one month,” said the NWPC.

Previously, the deadline was set by the NWPC on June 30.

The deadline, though, was initially extended to July 31 by the NWPC.

It reiterated that the submission of the AERW is necessary for the government to be able to improve its existing wage rules.

“Your AERW submission helps shape better wage policies,” said the NWPC.

Under Labor Advisory No. 03-2025, all private establishments are required to submit their AERWs as provided under the Labor Code of the Philippines.

The AERW shall include the verified itemized listing of their labor component, specifying the names of their rank-and-file employees, including learners, apprentices, and workers with disabilities, who were hired under the terms prescribed in the employment contracts, and their corresponding salaries and wages.

The 2024 AERW, the DOLE said, must have updated details as of 31 December 2024.
