CLOSE to 2,000 jobs are set to be offered by the Department of Health (DOH) when it holds a nationwide job fair for medical professionals and other health workers this week.
In a social media post, the DOH said it will be holding job fairs in several regions across the country from June 23 to 27.
“There are around 1,800 job vacancies with the Department of Health for those looking for employment opportunities,” said the DOH.
Six sites have been designated in Luzon, including Robinsons La Union (June 23), SM Grand Central (June 23 & 25), SM Tuguegarao (June 23), SM Pampanga (June 27), SM Trece (June 27), and SM Legazpi (June 24).
The SM Seaside (June 27), and Robinson North – Abucay (June 23-24) are set to host the job fairs in the Visayas.
In Mindanao, the job fairs are set at the KCC Mall Zamboanga (June 23-24), SM CDO Uptown (June 24-25), SM GenSan (June 24-25), and SM Butuan (June 25).

In applying, the DOH said applicants are required to present a Letter of Intent addressed to the head of human resources of the health facility, and a duly accomplished and notarized Personal Data Sheet Form (CS Form 212, Revised 2017 downloadable at https://www.csc.gov.ph/), with an attached work experience sheet.
They will also need certified true copies of their diplomas; transcript of records or certificate of units earned (for undergraduate), or Form 137 (for HS/Elementary); CSC Eligibility and/or PRC License and Board Rating; performance rating in the last rating period (for applicant applying for promotion/transfer, if applicable); copy of certificates of trainings/seminars relevant to the position applied for; proof of membership in society or professional organizations (if applicable); and proof of awards received (professional or civic related).
