PHILIPPINE Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and PNP operatives dismantled a drug den in Dagupan City in Pangasinan and arrested six drug suspects early morning yesterday.
The suspects were led by one Glaiza, 36, and Marvin, 27, the alleged maintainers of the drug den, and drug den employee May Ann, 34.
Also arrested were drug den “visitors” Jennifer, 42; Bryan, 43; and Elijah, 19.
PDEA and PNP operatives conducted a buy-bust operation at Arellano Bani, Barangay Pantal in Dagupan City at 2:45 a.m., leading to the arrest of the suspects and the dismantling of the drug den.
Seized during the operation were 14 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing 6.8 grams of shabu worth P46,240, the buy-bust money, drug paraphernalia, and a mobile phone, among others.
“The successful operation marks another high-impact accomplishment of PDEA RO (regional office) I and its partner law enforcement units in their continuing campaign against illegal drugs in the province of Pangasinan,” PDEA said in a statement.
In Davao City, PDEA and PNP operatives arrested a “big-time drug pusher, PDEA disclosed yesterday.
The suspect, identified only as Bryan, was arrested in a similar buy-bust operation in Purok 10-B, Lower Madapo, Barangay 8-A last Friday, PDEA said.
Bryan was arrested after selling 10 grams of shabu, worth P68,000, to a poseur buyer.
Also seized from him were 500 grams of shabu worth P3.4 million, and 96 pieces of ecstasy tablets worth P163,000.
