THE Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB)-VII has granted wage increases to private sector workers and domestic workers in Central Visayas that will take effect on October 4, 2025.
In its Wage Order No. ROVII-26, the Central Visayas wage board granted a daily pay hike of P37 to P47 for private sector workers.
“The minimum wage rates in Central Visayas will be P540 for cities and municipalities under Class A, and P500 for other cities and municipalities not covered under Class A,” said the RTWPB-VII.
Similarly, the RTWPB-VII issued Wage Order No. ROVII-DW_05, which provides for a pay increase of P1,000 to P2,000 to domestic workers.
“It increases the monthly minimum wage of kasambahays (domestic workers) for the entire region to P7,000,” said the Central Visayas wage board.
Covered by Central Visayas are the provinces of Bohol, Cebu, Negros Oriental, and Siquijor, as well as the highly urbanized cities of Cebu, Lapu-Lapu, and Mandaue.
