On the other hand, the Calabarzon wage board approved a P1,750 salary increase for the other municipalities in the region.

Currently, the monthly minimum wage rate in cities and first-class municipalities of Calabarzon is P6,000.

A monthly minimum wage rate of P5,000, meanwhile, is in effect in other municipalities in Region IVA.

Calabarzon covers the provinces of Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Quezon, and Rizal.
