THE Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) in Cagayan Valley is set to hold twin public hearings as part of its ongoing review of the minimum wage rate in the region.
In a social media post, the Cagayan Valley wage board scheduled two public hearings later this month in Cagayan and Isabela.
“The RTWPB-II invites all concerned workers, employers, kasambahay, and stakeholders to participate in the upcoming public hearings on minimum wage adjustment for private sector workers and domestic workers,” said the Cagayan Valley wage board announcement.
The first public hearing is set on September 24 at 1 p.m. at the
Tuguegarao City People’s Gymnasium in Tuguegarao City.
The second public Hearing, meanwhile, is on September 25 at 1 p.m., which will be held at the Palazzo Marcelino Event Center and Café in Santiago City.
“Let your voice be heard! Together, let’s work towards fair and just wages for workers while considering the capacity of employers,” said the RTWPB-II.
It said interested parties may coordinate with the RTWPB-II and register via bit.ly/2025R2PH.
They may also submit position papers at 1F J&C Lasam – Villrose Building, 10-A Arellano Extension, Ugac Sur, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan or via rb2@nwpc.dole.gov.ph during the period of September 7 to 25.
The last wage orders issued by the Cagayan Valley wage board took effect back in October 17, 2024.
The current minimum wage rates in Cagayan Valley are P460.00 to P480.00 for private sector workers, and P6,000.00 for domestic workers.
