THE list of registered voters eligible to participate in the October 13 Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections (BPE) will be available on or before August 7, according to the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
The Comelec en banc, through Resolution No. 11153, said Posted Computerized Voters Lists (PCVLs) shall be displayed in all Offices of the Election Officer (OEOs) in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) by August 7.
“After the finalization of the Projects of Precincts (POPs) and submission of the final databases to the Information Technology Department (ITD), the OEOs shall proceed with the generation and printing of three copies of PCVL,” said the Comelec.
“A copy thereof shall be posted at the OEOs not later than August 7, 2025,” it said.
It said, though, that the PCVLs shall still be subject to the verification and certification of the Election Registration Boards (ERBs) and accredited citizens arms, which have until August 29 to finalize the list.
The certified and final list of voters shall then be posted in OEOs and all city or municipal halls in the region.
“All ERBs in BARMM shall post the non-colored and without photograph certified and final lists of voters in the OEO and in the bulletin board of each city/municipal hall within five days from the conduct of the ERB meeting for the certification of the list of voters,” said the Comelec.
Around 2.3 million BARMM registered voters participated during the May 12 midterm elections.
