THE 2025 Bar exams concluded yesterday in 14 testing centers across the country without any major incident marring their conduct.
The morning session of the last day of the Bar exams was dedicated to Criminal Law, while Legal and Judicial Ethics and Remedial Law were covered in the afternoon session.
The Supreme Court has yet to provide the number of examinees who managed to complete the Bar exams, which began on September 7.
Earlier, the SC said 11,429 of the 11,437 examinees who appeared on the first day of the Bar were present on the second day last September 10.
The SC said 13,193 were granted permission to take the Bar exams this year.
The SC said the results of the Bar exams are tentatively set for release in January 2026.
Meanwhile, the oath-taking and signing of the Roll of Attorneys is tentatively set in February.
Earlier, SC Associate Justice and 2025 Bar Exams Committee Chair Amy Lazaro-Javier said the High Court will no longer revert to the traditional “pen-to-paper” format in next year’s Bar exams.
She said the SC will maintain the current digitalized and regionalized Bar exams format for the next three years.
The High Court approved the historic shift by adopting a “digitalized, localized, and proctored” format in the 2021 Bar exams.
