THE Angono, Rizal government has announced a 10-year plan for the construction of a Light Industrial Park Angono Dream (Lipad) that aims to improve local and commercial activity in the municipality.
Mayor Gerardo “Gerry” Calderon disclosed this plan to the media as his endgame for the municipality, adding that the 10 plan aims for growth and development with a new Angono municipal hall, gymnasium, jogging lane, boat harbor, and others.
They have presented their business, economic and tourism plans to big and prospective investors, as some are already giving their support to the plan.
He added that they will also focus on anti-illegal mining, the fight against illegal drugs, and education.
“Either you die or enroll in school was how Angono addressed the menace of illegal drugs,” Calderon said.
Angono has a population of 125,000, which Calderon hoped would not double, but it would create more livelihood opportunities with the 10-year plan.
