ALL 21 Filipino seafarers of the missile-hit M/V Minoan Courage have been successfully repatriated, according to the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).
In a social media post, the DMW reported late Wednesday the arrival of the last 10 Filipino crew members of the Greek bulk carrier which was struck by a Houthi rebel missile on October 1 while traversing the Red Sea,
The 11 other crew members returned home earlier in two batches.
The repatriation operations were done in coordination with the seafarers’ manning agency and the shipowner, the DMW also said adding the manning agency arranged hotel accommodations while the seafarers await psychiatric evaluation.
The seafarers received various forms of assistance, including financial aid, the DMW also said.
