THE Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) on Wednesday said eight (8) rescued Filipino crew members of the ill-fated M/V Eternity C are expected to arrive tonight at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 in Pasay City.
In an advisory, the DMW said the eight seafarers are set to arrive at about 8 pm and will be welcomed at the airport by Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac and other government officials.
The eight were among the 21 Filipino crew members of M/V Eternity C, which was attacked by Houthi rebels using a drone boat and ballistic missiles while the vessel was traversing the Red Sea on July 7 and again on July 8.
