The CIDG said the suspects were charged before the National Prosecution Service for violation of Section 155 of Republic Act No. 8293 (Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines).
CIDG officer-in-charge Col. Rolindo Suguilon commended his men for their “very good accom-plishment,” as he added, “this underscores our commitment in enforcing the law and going after its violators. With the arrest of the suspects, we significantly prevented crimes and viola-tions of law.”
Suguilon assured the public that the CIDG remains “relentless in its fight against all criminalities and criminals; and unyielding in enforcing all the laws across the country.”
“We urge our kababayan to report all illegal trade and criminalities in your localities and your CIDG will do the rest,” added Suguilon.
