FORTY-FIVE overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) from crisis-hit Israel were safely repatriated yesterday at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 in Pasay City.
“Another batch of 45 Filipinos from Israel, who have availed themselves of the Philippine government’s voluntary repatriation program, safely arrived home,” the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said in a social media post.
“The repatriation of this batch brings to a total of 1,607 OFW returnees from Israel since October 2023,” said the DMW.
The Department said all OFW returnees were immediately provided with necessary assistance, including financial aid, temporary accommodation, and transportation services.
