THE Legal Education Board (LEB) has accredited four more institutions offering law degree programs.
In a memorandum circular dated May 29 but only made public last Tuesday, the LEB said the accreditation will expand access to quality legal education.
“These institutions will play a crucial role in nurturing future legal professionals who will champion the cause of justice and uphold the rule of law,” it said.
The four are Baliuag University in Baliuag City, Bulacan, Cebu Normal University in Cebu City, Lyceum of Alabang in Tunasan, Muntinlupa City, and Negros Oriental State University in Dumaguete City.
These institutions, according to the LEB, may start offering law degree programs this academic year 2025-2026.
