The HOTS rate was 12.75 percent of the 298 jobseekers from the POGO industry.
Overall, the DOLE said there were 136 HOTS during the two-day event.
“There were 136 hired-on-the-spot applicants during the job fair,” said DOLE.
This was 15.72 percent of the 865 jobseekers in the special job fair.
DOLE organized the job fair to assist displaced workers in finding new jobs following the ban on all POGOs in the country.
Approximately 12,378 job vacancies were offered by 790 employers across various industries during the job fair.
