THIRTY-SIX Pasig Junior City Officials took their oath to serve as the Pasig government youth counterpart to be assigned to different departments.
Mayor Vico Sotto led the oath-taking ceremony during last Monday’s flag-raising ceremony.
Junior Mayor Ma. Diana Bulingit thanked Mayor Sotto and all Pasig officials for the opportunity to serve the city. She said that the junior city officials will focus on programs for the benefit of the Pasigueño youth.
To prepare them for their responsibilities, there will be orientation sessions from August 11 to 15 to be conducted by the Department of the Interior and Local Government-Pasig Field Office (DILG-PFO), Human Resource Development Office, as well as the Gender and Development Office.
The Pasig public information office (PIO) said the 36 junior City officials were chosen from 90 applicants this year.
