The PNP said 1,564 of the promotes took their oath before PNP chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil at the PNP national head-quarters at Camp Crame.

“This promotion is not just about adding stripes or stars to your uniform; it is a testament to your dedication, hard work, and commitment to the noble service of law enforcement,” Marbil told the cops.

“It signifies the trust and confidence that the PNP places in you to carry greater responsibilities and meet the ever-evolving challenges of maintaining peace and order,” Marbil added.

Marbil said greater responsibility awaits the newly-promoted policemen.

“Every position demands competence, integrity, and selfless dedication. Let this promotion inspire you to uphold the highest standards of responsible policing and serve as role models for those who will follow in your footsteps,” said Marbil.

He urged the policemen to work harder, act with “greater deci-siveness” and uphold the PNP’s core values of service, honor and justice.

He noted that the Filipino people expect the police force to be “guardians of peace, defenders of justice, and enforcers of the law.”

“Let us make them proud. Let us strengthen public trust in the PNP and prove our unwavering commitment to ensur-ing a safe and secure nation,” said Marbil.
