THE Supreme Court yesterday said aspiring lawyers who want to take the 2025 Bar examinations may start applying online on January 8.
Associate Justice and 2025 Bar Exams Committee chairperson Amy Lazaro-Javier said the online application can be done via BARISTA through the Philippine Judiciary Platform or PJP.
She said the last day for online applications will be on March 17 next year.
Bar Bulletin No. 2 issued by Lazaro-Javier said applicants must create an account in the PJP and use their personal email address, stressing that “the application for the 2025 Bar Examinations shall be accomplished exclusively through the BARISTA.”
Lazaro-Javier also said previous Bar takers and refreshers who have previously uploaded their requirements in the Bar Personal Login Unified System (Bar PLUS) accounts must also create new PJP accounts.
The Bar PLUS was used for the 2020, 2021 and 2022 exams.
She reminded applicants to upload all documentary requirements to BARISTA and pay a non-refundable application fee of P12,800 through the platform’s official payment channel.
She said applicants who fail to complete their law degree in time for the Bar examinations may file a request for refund of their application fees to the Office of the Bar Confidant by September 1, 2025.
