THE Pasig government turned over 19 new motorcycles to the local police, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), and the office of the prosecutor.
The Pasig public information office (PIO) announced the turnover during the second quarter meeting of the Pasig City Peace and Order Council.
The turnover of the vehicles was made possible through a deed of donation from the national government. It aims to help the agencies with their work as well as boost the morale of those in the service.
The Pcpoc is composed of representatives of the local and national government as well as different agencies of the city. Aside from the turnover of the vehicles, several matters were discussed during the meeting, including Balik Eskwela preparations that include increased security in public schools to be led by the Schools Division Office of Pasig City.
