MORE than 11,000 candidates completed the three-day Bar examinations this year that ended last Sunday, the Supreme Court (SC) said yesterday.
The high court said out of the 13,194 admitted applicants, 11,425 managed to complete the bar — the most grueling licensure examination in the country — in 14 testing centers nationwide.
This year’s Bar also saw the highest first-day turnout at 11,437 takers.
SC Associate Justice and 2025 Bar Committee Chairperson Amy Lazaro-Javier said no untoward incident marred the examinations.
“There was no violence or harm to anyone,” Lazaro-Javier added.
Of the 14 testing centers, the New Era University in Quezon City registered the highest number of examinees at 1,697, followed by 1,265 in the University of San Jose de Recoletos in Cebu City, 1,252 in Saint Louis University-Baguio, and 1,097at the Ateneo de Davao University.
The SC said the results of the Bar are tentatively set for release in January 2026.
Meanwhile, the oath-taking and signing of the Roll of Attorneys is tentatively set in February.
