A MOTORCYCLE driver was arrested yesterday in Marikina City for having three backriders, all of them minors.
Col. Restituto Arcangel, local police chief, said Ceasar Josef, 55, of Barangay Tañong was flagged down in a checkpoint at A. Bonifacio Ave. The three backriders were turned over to barangay officials.
Arcangel said Josef refused to show his driver’s license and was arrested.

Under quarantine laws, only one backrider is allowed on a motorcycle and the backrider and the driver should be separated by a barrier.
Meanwhile, two persons were nabbed for possession of illegal drugs in Pasig City yesterday. — With Christian Oineza
