Known for her emotional songs, Moira has captivated audiences with her unique voice. However, many have noted that her singing style is often characterized by a dreamy quality. “Ganto lang talaga ako magsalita. Pag labas ko sa nanay ko, ganto na talaga ako. Pati pag iyak ko po ata ganto na rin. Pasensya na po,” she said.

“Baka ang Nanay ko po uminom ng Maria Clara kaya paglabas ko, ganto na,” she quipped.

The singer-songwriter also revealed a rather low tolerance for alcohol, which led to an unexpected turn of events during the commercial shoot for Maria Clara Sangria. Moira, the first and only endorser of Maria Clara Sangria, disclosed that she became intoxicated after consuming three glasses of the sangria during the shoot.

“Gusto nyo ba sumagot, kung lasenggera ba ako?” she said, addressing her bandmates. “Hindi. Pero mabilis ba akong malasing? No comment,” she continued.

“Nung nag Tiktok po ako for Maria Clara, tapos naka tatlong glass po ako, pagkatapos po ako, nalasing po ako. Hindi pa po nalabas ‘yung Virgin Sangria,” Moira revealed.

Moira’s involvement with Maria Clara Sangria goes beyond being its endorser. She composed the anthem “Maria Clara,” a full-length song that serves as the brand’s new jingle.

“Maria Clara” reminds everyone that it’s okay not to feel okay at times, emphasizing the importance of taking one’s time and finding comfort in the knowledge that everything will be alright. Moira shared, “Maria Clara is like a friend for all seasons. It’s a reminder of where you’ve been, where you’re going, and who you are as a woman.”

“Maria Clara” by Moira Dela Torre is now available for streaming on Spotify.
