MMFF 2021 back on the big screen

The Metro Manila Film Festival executive committee revealed on Friday the eight films that made it to the lineup of this year’s film fest, which will run from Dec. 25, 2021 to Jan. 8, 2022.

They are:

Viva Films’ “A Hard Day” by Lawrence Fajardo, starring Dingdong Dantes and John Arcilla;
Cignal, Idea First, Octobertrain and Quantum Films’ “Big Night” by Jun Robles Lana, starring Christian Bables and Nico Antonio;

ABS-CBN Film Productions’ “Love at First Stream” by Cathy Garcia Molina, starring Kaori Oinuma and Anthony Jennings;

Cinematografica, Globe Studios, Quantum, CMB’s “Kun Maupay Man It Panahon” by Francisco Manatad and starring Charo Santos-Concio and Daniel Padilla;

A&Q Films’ “Nelia” by Lester Dimaranan, starring Winwyn Marquez and Raymond Bagatsing;
Obra Cinema Films’ “Huwag Kang Lalabas” by Adolf Alix and starring Kim Chiu and Beauty Gonzalez;

TinCan Productions and Viva Films’ “The Exorsis” by Fifth Solomon and starring Toni Gonzaga and Alex Gonzaga;

Heavens’ Best’s “Huling Ulan Sa Tag-Araw” by Louie Ignacio and starring Rita Daniela and Ken Chan.

The eight movies may be enjoyed on the big screen. Last year’s entries were only viewed via streaming.
