THE Mister International Philippines organization has formally bestowed new titles to two of its runners-up in separate announcements, in effect, rounding up the international pageant assignments of the top 5 winners.
Kitt Cortez of San Juan City, who finished third runner-up at the Mister International Philippines 2022 finals at Okada Manila last June 27, will represent the country at the Mister Tourism International contest to be held in Bali, Indonesia this year.
Mister Tourism International is a world-class male pageant held by the Mister Tourism Indonesia Organization, supported by the Indonesian government and the government of Bali and it is officially registered and has received brand protection from the government since November 16, 2018. Mister Tourism International will be held consistently in Bali every year.
Mister Tourism International supports the tourism sector of its participating countries and has a positive impact on the promotion and development of world tourism.
Ahead of Cortez, fourth runner-up Andre John Cue of Cagayan de Oro City was announced as Mister Teen International Philippines 2022-23.
A fresh graduate of Grade 12, 18-year-old Andre will represent the country at the Mister Teen International contest to be held in Laos next year.
After the finals last June, the Mister International Philippines Organization (MIPO), through its president Atty. Manuel Deldio, had ensured that all of the its five winners will be given international pageant assignments.
The pageant elected Myron Jude “MJ” Ordillano of Parañaque City as Mister International Philippines who will be the host delegate for the Mister International Pagesnt in Manila in October.
First runner-up Mark Avendaño of Biñan City will vie for Mister Global in Thailand in December while second runner-up Michael Ver Comaling of Leyte will compete for Mr. National Universe, also in Thailand, next year.
MIPO has also acquired the franchise for Mister Universal Caballero. The organization has yet to announce who to assign for this Venezuela-based tilt.
The sashing ceremony shall be held soon to formally bestow the respective titles of the runners-up.
