POLICE killed an alleged member of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front in an operation in Cotabato City and seized two kilos of suspected shabu with a street value of P13.6 million last Monday.
A report to PNP chief Archie Gamboa identified the suspect as Tohami Kamsa, reportedly a member of the 104th MILF Base Command based on identification cards recovered from him.
Reports said Kamsa was closing a drug deal with a poseur-buyer but sensed he was dealing with an undercover agent, pulled out a gun and fired but missed at the agent. Other cops involved in the operation retaliated, killing Kamsa on the spot.
Recovered at the crime scene were P1.3 million in boodle money and a .45 caliber pistol.
