THE 2nd Noble Queen of the Universe, a sisterhood of family-oriented and accomplished women who bond together to promote respect, help and uplift the condition of communities across diverse societies, has selected its winners via the virtual platform who are now poised to continue the organization’s advocacies during their reign.
Seven were crowned during the virtual finals last December 30, 2020, while three were appointed as ambassadors by Respect: Noble Queen Universe Ltd. headed by former Mrs. Universe Philippines and banker-entrepreneur Eren Noche.
The winners are: Megan Camaisa from Southern California, USA, Noble Queen Universe; Giselle Sanchez from Visayas – Philippines, Noble Queen International; Aditi Ahuja from India, Noble Queen Globe; Rhonda Swan from the USA, Noble Queen Earth; Janeen Streetman from West Coast, USA, Noble Queen Tourism; Anna Perez from Pampanga, Philippines, first runner-up; and Coo Pulido Catalan from Antipolo City, Philippines, second runner-up; Anne Villanueva, Advocate Queen of the Universe; Dr. Melanie Veneracion, Respect : Noble Queen of the Universe Ltd.; and Malu Barry, Respect: Noble Queen of the Universe Classic.
For Megan Camaisa, who is married to a Filipino who runs and owns several successful companies, winning the top crown was an opportunity to be able to help promote the betterment of women and children in need on a greater scale and continue her family’s philanthropic journey that extends overseas — to her husband’s home province of Cavite as well as to calamity-stricken areas all over the Philippines.
For comedienne-host Giselle Sanchez Buencamino, she joined the pageant believing that she will have a bigger voice to be able to help the homeless and provide food, shelter and sustainable livelihood for them.
Giselle made a 360-degree turn, trained seriously to talk, walk and act like a beauty queen, although the pageant scene was not exactly alien to her, having hosted several tilts like Reyna ng Aliwan Fiesta and local pageants in the Visayas where she came from.
Kagandahang Flores founder/head mentor Rodgil Flores attests to this that Giselle may have her funny, riotous side, but was dead serious during her training sessions with them.
Giselle is only too happy she now has a bigger voice with her title as she continues to help poor communities by way of her own long-running Giselle Sanchez Foundation as well as Noble Queen’s own charities.
For the other queens — Aditi, Rhonda, Janeen, Anna and Coo — they have pursued their own personal advocacies and are looking forward to what their year of reign has in store for them. As for Anne, Dr. Veneracion and Malu, supporting the reigning queens and further promoting the international tilt’s advocacy and philanthropy would be their focus.
The international tilt was aired last December 30, 2020 at their social media pages and via Pinoy Xtreme Channel (SkyCable 217, Destiny 84, Cignal 106 and Cable Link 59 Fox Channel).
