Actress Max Collins renewed her contract with GMA on Friday, July 9.
She has been with the network for over a decade. Asked what has kept her loyal, she shared: “Throughout the years, as a Kapuso I’ve learned how important it is to give each project so much love, and how to give my co-workers, the staff, and the network the same respect that I give my own family members.”
She looks forward to growing more in her craft, added Max. “Now that the world seems to be so uncertain with all of the chaos that has been happening, I’m even more grateful now to be in the position that I am in in terms of my career. I’ve come a long way since the day I first started, and I’m proud of my achievements. A decade is a long time to be in one industry, and I’m excited to begin a new decade doing what I love most, acting.”
Present during the virtual signing ceremony were Vice President and CFO Felipe S. Yalong, Senior Vice President for GMA Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, First Vice President and Head of Regional TV and Synergy Oliver B. Amoroso, First Vice President For Drama Productions Redgie A. Magno, Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Communications Angel Javier Cruz, Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, Senior Assistant Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, GMA Artist Center Assistant Vice President and Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Unit Simoun Ferrer, GMA Artist Center Senior Talent Manager Daryl Zamora, Senior Program Manager Cathy Perez, and Max’s manager Perry Lansigan.
Yalong expressed his gratitude to Max for her unwavering loyalty to GMA. “Thank you for entrusting GMA with your career. You are the classic example of how a true and loyal Kapuso artist should be. We are looking forward to your new and exciting projects for the delight of our loyal Kapuso viewers.”
Rasonable said she is excited for what’s ahead for Max. “We are very happy that you said you love being a Kapuso because we also love having you here. We have always believed in your talent and of course, you are one of the most beautiful faces in the television and movie industry. We are proud to have you here and we are excited to give you many more projects.”
“We are very excited to have this event to welcome Max Collins as she continues her journey as a Kapuso,” said Santiago-Lara.
