THREE alleged marijuana pushers were arrested and 217 blocks of dried marijuana leaves worth P26.04 million were seized by authorities in Balintawak, Quezon City yesterday morning.
The Quezon City Police District identified the three as Dianne Irene Cambalicer; Louie Mark Cuerdo; and Angelo Buenaventura.
The three were nabbed by combined operatives of the QCPD, PNP Drug Enforcement Group, and Philippine Drug Enforcement Group at around 7:40 a.m. in a buy-bust operation in front of hardware store.
Three jobless men were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Mandaluyong City, with P34,680 worth of suspected drugs seized.
Lt. Elvin Olmidillo, city SDEU head, identified the three as Erwin Lerio, 22; Jesus Smith Nagallo, 37; and Boris Dagatan, 18, residents of Barangay Addition Hills.
Seized from them were 5.1 grams of suspected shabu, marijuana leaves and drug paraphernalia. — With Christian Oineza
