A MAGNITUDE 6.4 earthquake rocked Maguindanao Sunday morning but the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said it was not expecting damage from the tremor.
The quake, which was tectonic in origin, occurred at around 1:08 a.m. Its epicenter was some 13 km east of Cotabato City. It had a depth of 543 km.
It was felt at Intensity 2 in Alabel and Malungon towns in Sarangani and Intensity 1 in Tupi town, General Santos City, and Koronadal City in South Cotabato and Kiamba town in Sarangani.
