“Isa lang naman rason kung bakit ko tinanggap ito – kaliwaan ang sweldo,” Luis Manzano deadpanned when asked why he accepted the chance to be the game master in Pie Channel’s new weekend show, “Tamang Hinala.”
Luis, an award-winning host and first-time dad, kept the audience in stitches as he added that he wants his mom, Vilma Santos, stepdad Ralph Recto, dad Edu Manzano and wife Jessy Mendiola to be the investigators in the unique game show so that they can keep the pot money within the family.
But seriously, Luis thanked Pie for the opportunity and said it is “Tamang Hinala’s” intriguing and unique nature – a game show that combines dramatic, suspenseful comedic storytelling in one exciting package – that made him say yes to the offer.
Beginning Saturday, September 9 at 6:30 p.m., Luis will indulge KaTroPIEs in an exciting mystery game “Tamang Hinala.” It has a fairly straightforward proposition yet poses a fun, mind-boggling challenge: “Manood, mag-imbestiga, at manalo.”
Aside from Luis, viewers of the Pie Channel called KaTroPies have more chances of winning with new game masters Robi Domingo from upcoming show “Watchawin” and Eric Nicolas from recently launched “Mukhang Perya.”
Jolina Magdangal and Bayani Agbayani, the new game master tandem at “Sinong Manok Mo” and Negi of “Mukhang Perya” sent a video message for the afternoon’s guests last Wednesday at the launching at Sequoia Hotel in Quezon City. Game Master Melai Cantiveros likewise delivered virtual greetings on behalf of “Ur Da Boss.”
Luis, along with Robi, Jolina, and other aforementioned hosts are PIE’s newly-minted game masters, taking on anchor roles at their respective programs in the Pindot PIEnalo Block. They are joined by PIE Jocks–up and coming hosts that help facilitate games for studio participants and interactive experiences for online KaTroPIEs.
The platform’s revamped daily primetime programming, the Pindot PIEnalo block, starts at 6 p.m. Each program in the block is interactive and gamified, offering entertainment and more chances to win cash and prizes for viewers.
The Pindot PIEnalo block is bookended by “Mukhang Perya” from Monday to Friday. Leading the show’s weekday 6 to 7 p.m. run is Nicolas. In it, studio players win prizes as they take a stab at classic perya games, while online KaTroPIEs can win as much as P30,000 daily by participating through their devices.
Meanwhile, “Ur Da Boss” returns for a new season from Monday to Friday at 7 p.m. Melai Cantiveros and PIE Jock Jennica Garcia are at it once again, offering viewers a chance to win as much as P20,000 daily as job orders become increasingly challenging for studio players.
Premiering on September 11 at 8:15 p.m. is “Watchawin” wherein Robi shows a string of short videos to the studio participant and online viewers and later asks them to recall details and elements about what had just been played.
“Mukhang Perya” returns at 9 p.m, with Gillian Vicencio, Gello Marquez, Seham Daghlas, Rans Rifol, and Cianne Dominguez joining BB Gurlz Freshe and Angelica.
The Pindot PIEnalo block continues on Saturdays and Sundays with the 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. editions of “Mukhang Perya” with Negi, Nicki Morena and Kevin Montillano, and Freshe and Angelica bringing fun to viewers.
Back for a new season is “Sinong Manok Mo” where Jolina and Bayani lead the bardagulan experience in and out of the studio. Together PIE Jocks Jackie Gonzaga, Patsy Reyes, Jeremy G, Anji Salvacion, and Nonong Ballinan, this interactive game show gives online viewers the chance to outsmart and outbeat one another in friendly competition.
The Pindot PIEnalo experience is made possible when KaTroPIEs watch, engage, and win on PIE by registering on pie.com.ph.
