THE Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan is praying to have more priests in Pangasinan.
Its archbishop, Socrates Villegas, issued an “Oratio Imperata (Obligatory Prayer)” for more young men to answer the call of God to become His servants.
Villegas also asked the faithful to pray for seminarians so they will have more perseverance in their vocations during the “Month of Stewardship for Vocations.”
“Let us unite to pray for vocations and support our seminarians and seminaries,” said the former president of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines.
According to Villegas, the mandatory prayer must be prayed kneeling down before the post-Communion prayer in all masses in the archdiocese from December 1 to 31.
The mandatory prayer has English, Pangasinan, and Tagalog versions.
