LABORERS and domestic workers are among the most in demand jobs today, topping the list of the Public Employment Service Offices (PESOs), according to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
Based on the June 4-10 data released by the Bureau of Local Employment (BLE), there are currently 1,423 and 995 job vacancies for laborers and domestic helpers, respectively.
Other leading job vacancies include production workers (750), cardiovascular nurse (640), and production machine operators (446).
Completing the top 10 are artist-illustrator (400), construction laborer (275), delivery room nurse (150), clinic nurses (150), and derma ward nurses (150).
PESO data also showed high demand for consultant nurses (150), company nurses (142), bookkeepers (121), warehouse man (116), and cardiac surgical nurses (100).
BLE also said there are vacancies for dental nurses (100), finishing carpenters (100), glass edge grinders (100), anaesthetic nurses (100), and out-patient department nurses (100).
