Award-winning actor JM de Guzman invites fans not to miss the finale of hit Kapamilya teleserye “Init sa Magdamag.” The soap, which also stars Yam Concepcion and Gerald Anderson, deals with controversial themes and often trends on social media. On its last two weeks, JM teases that viewers should watch for unexpected twists and shocking scenes. “Init sa Magdamag” runs until September 10.
Recently, JM also announced that he will be actively supporting Ang Probinsyano Party-list.
He was eager to volunteer as an ambassador because this gives him another platform to reach out and help more people.
The actor shared that he will be specifically involved with the Alagang Probinsyano program that provides free house-to-house medical checkups for partner communities. “I have already expressed my willingness to go to the provinces with them. Sasama ako sa kanila to bring public service to various communities. I prefer to genuinely help. So, in the coming months, mag-iikot kami sa mga probinsya, at dito rin sa Metro Manila, para magdala ng ayuda, gamot at iba pa na pwedeng makagaan ng buhay kahit paano ngayong pandemya. Gusto kong personal na ipakita sa tao na Ang Probinsyano Party-list ay tumutulong at patuloy na tutulong sa kanila.”
He spoke candidly about why he is lending his voice and his time for the partylist, “I admire Congressman Alfred delos Santos, and the Ang Probinsyano Party-list he represents. We are about the same age, and yet, through his leadership, he has developed a group that provides a voice for marginalized groups in the provinces. I’m inspired to do more. And, I encourage everyone, especially the youth to register and vote in this coming election.”
