Merry carols filled the air as wellness advocate and actress Iza Calzado led the tree-lighting ceremony commemorating 21 years of The Farm at San Benito last December 14 at Lipa, Batangas.
Accompanied by her husband Ben Wintle and their 10-month-old daughter Deia Amihan, she expressed her excitement to be a part of the resort’s milestone celebrations. “I started visiting the farm in 2011, and during that visit, I remember being by the mango tree, manifesting a brighter future because I was heartbroken at that time.”
She shared that a lot of the things she wished for during that moment had come true, and she expressed gratitude for the place being a witness to numerous family milestones. Iza added that her hubby Ben also shared her deep connection to The Farm. “I remember my husband telling me that years ago he also wished for something, and now she is here with us, our dearest daughter Deia Amihan, celebrating her first Christmas party at the Farm.”
Even before becoming a brand ambassador, Iza considered The Farm at San Benito to be one of her homes, describing it as a “magical, special, almost miraculous place.” She expressed how natural it is for her to represent a place that holds deep meaning for her and her family. “The energy of the place can somehow change you and you may have an experience that can lift you out in whatever darkness you are currently experiencing. Somehow pag pumupunta ako dito nakakahanap ako ng liwanag.”
