ABS-CBN on Wednesday has announced the temporary replacement of “It’s Showtime” with a new variety show titled “It’s Your Lucky Day.” This decision comes as “It’s Showtime” faces a suspension from the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
The suspension, imposed by the MTRCB, led to ABS-CBN’s decision to introduce a game show to keep viewers entertained during the 12-day hiatus. “It’s Your Lucky Day” will air from October 14 to 27, Mondays through Saturdays, at 12 p.m.
Hosted by Luis Manzano, “It’s Your Lucky Day” will also feature Robi Domingo, Jennica Garcia, and Melai Cantiveros.
“It’s Your Lucky Day” is produced by the same creative team behind “It’s Showtime,” and will introduce a set of original game and variety segments.
The new program will be accessible to viewers across multiple platforms. It will air on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and GTV. Additionally, “It’s Your Lucky Day” will be available on Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and TFC.
In a statement, ABS-CBN invited viewers to welcome luck into their homes and experience fun and enjoyment with their families during the 12-day temporary suspension of “It’s Showtime.”
