Actress and humanitarian Angel Locsin and producer-director Neil Arce are married.
The couple revealed the happy news on their social media accounts and in a vlog on Saturday titled “Lipat Bahay Gang” on The Angel and Neil Channel.
Less than 24 hours and “Lipat Bahay Gang” already has close to a million views. The vlog shows Angel and Neil in their individual condo units preparing for their move in to their conjugal home. While packing, Angel asks her friends on how it is to adjust to living with a partner and she also opens up about the pressure of having kids at her age. Neil, meanwhile, is helped by his Mommy Jean in purging and packing his stuff. Neil’s mom also talks about feeling happy that her son is finally tying the knot with Angel and reminds Neil to always let Angel win and to remember the maxim “happy wife, happy life.” Then, Neil is shown visiting Angel at her home and the couple talking about moving in together.
Thirty seconds before the vlog ends, they announce their wedding and show photos from their civil wedding officiated by Taguig Mayor Lino Cayetano with actress Dimples Romana and husband Boyet Ahmee standing as witnesses.
The happy news was met by an overflow of congratulations and best wishes from other celebrities, including Charo Santos, Karen Davila, Mariel Padilla, Neri Miranda, Edu Manzano, Bubbles Paraiso, Kathryn Bernardo, Jerrald Napoles, Janice de Belen and Arjo and Ria Atayde.
Angel and Neil got engaged in June 2019. Their original plan to wed in November 2020 was scrapped because of the pandemic.
