Revenge drama ‘Red Swan,’ high-octane ‘A Shop for Killers’ coming to Disney+

Riveting drama “Red Swan” and exciting series “A Shop for Killers” are coming to Disney+.

Former professional golfer and current Goodwill Ambassador Oh Wansoo has long been aware of her husband’s infidelity, but after narrowly avoiding a dangerous situation on the biggest night of her life, Wansoo will finally begin to reconsider their marriage after falling in love with the man who saved her, in “Red Swan.”

Born into an impoverished home, Oh Wansoo turned her life around and became a world-class golfer — attracting the attention of many, including her future husband and heir to the Hwain Group, Kim Yongguk. Struggling to clear her mother’s debt, Wansoo agreed to marry Yongguk but quickly became unhappy after discovering her husband’s infidelity. For over ten years, Wansoo has stayed with her husband, determined to make it work, but things quickly begin to change on the biggest night of her life. Shortly after arriving in Manila for her debut appearance as a Goodwill Ambassador, Wansoo is caught in the middle of a hail of gunfire, narrowly escaping thanks to the heroic actions of the company bodyguard, Seo Doyoon. Soon after, Wansoo begins to develop feelings for Doyoon, reconsidering her whole life up until that night, but little does she know Doyoon’s real motivation for working for the Hwain Group.

Starring Kim Haneul as golfing star and Goodwill Ambassador Oh Wansoo; Jeong Jihun as Seo Doyoon, a bodyguard with an ulterior motive; Jeong Gyeoun as heir to the Hwain Group and serial adulterer, Kim Yongguk; and Seo Isug as Park Miran, the CEO of the Hwain Group; “Red Swan” is written by Choi Yoonjung and directed by Park Hong kyun.

“Red Swan” streams later this year, while “A Shop for Killers” is set for next year.Lee Dongwook and Kim Hyejun star in a new Korean Original series coming to Disney+ in 2024.

After her uncle’s unexpected death, college student Jeong Jian (Kim Hyejun) finds out about a mysterious online shopping mall and goes on the run from a medley of murderers and assassins in “A Shop For Killers.”

Shortly after entering college, Jian receives a call from local police informing her of her uncle’s “suicide.” Her carer since the death of her parents, uncle Jeong Jinman (Lee Dongwook) had always been quiet and mysterious but never suicidal. But before Jian has a chance to think, her life is turned upside down by a flurry of gunfire, murder drones and more, as a medley of highly skilled assassins inexplicably turn their focus to killing her.

Pinned down in her uncle’s home, Jian will be forced to revisit some of the bizarre training her uncle gave her throughout her formative years if she hopes to survive long enough to discover what is going on.

“A Shop For Killers” is based on the popular original novel by Kang Jiyoung, written by Ji Hojin and Lee Kwon, and directed by Lee Kwon.
