Disney’s live-action reimagining of the studio’s Oscar-winning animated musical classic, “The Little Mermaid,” is now showing in cinemas nationwide.
Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” is the story of Ariel, a beautiful mermaid who’s the youngest of King Triton’s daughters. Spirited and defiant with a thirst for adventure, Ariel dreams of exploring the vast world above the sea. Upon visiting the surface, she comes across the dashing Prince Eric and falls for him. While mermaids are forbidden to interact with humans, Ariel must follow her heart and make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula. This gives her a chance to be a part of the world on land but ultimately places her life and the fate of her father’s crown in jeopardy.
