THE Internal Affairs Service of the Philippine National Police (PNP-IAS) wants Staff Sgt. Jonnel Nuezca, the policeman who killed a mother and son in Paniqui, Tarlac last month, dismissed from service.
IAS Inspector General Alfegar Triambulo said they have submitted the resolution on the administrative cases filed against Nuezca to the office of the Regional Director of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).
Nuezca used to be assigned to the Crime Laboratory based in Paranaque City.
Triambulo said that Brig. Gen. Vicente Danao, NCRPO chief, has disciplinary power on Nuezca, including dismissal from the service.
Triamtbulo said that Nuezca admitted in his position paper that he shot dead 52-year old Sonya Gregorio and her 25-year old son.
However, he pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned last Friday. — Victor Reyes
