Morocco Kingdom of Light together with Rustan’s Zenaida Tantoco jointly hosted an “Enchanted Afternoon with Pinky Tobiano,” with the chemist-philanthropist displaying yet another facet of her tablescaping expertise.
Pinky arranged five tables with Moroccan details and designs that impressed and delighted guests, both local and foreign, in the recent “tablescaping event for a cause” held at Rustan’s Makati

A chemist by profession, as well as a philanthropist, social media influencer, “Queen of Tablescaping” Pinky Tpbiano prepared five table layouts where she incorporated Moroccan furniture, tables, chairs, plates, glasses, bowls, table runners, decorative items and other accessories into the setting.
Pinky made use of colorful mosaic Zellige tables handmade in Morocco from unrefined clay that is hand-kneaded and kiln-fired. There were also Serghini porcelain tea sets for six, which has a teapot and a serving tray, as well as a Serghini 30-piece set, Moroccan dinnerware set of 12, plus other Moroccan merchandise.
A round-trip business class ticket for two to Morocco will be raffled off by Emirates Airlines on January 11, 2024.
During the pandemic, when Rustan’s saw Pinky’s detailed tablescaping work (@tablelovebypinky), they got her as influencer for the brand.
The notable guests in the recent event were Rustan’s Nedy Tantoco and Patrick Jacinto, former Miss Universe Margie Moran and beauty queen Bianca Manalo, Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson, actress Nadine Samonte, TV journalist Marie Lozano and noted hairdresser Bambbi Fuentes.
Pinky’s daughters, Karrel and Pianne Sinfuego, were also in attendance.
There were also Malou Martinez, Roxanne Farillas, Ferdie Salvador, Anna Magkawas, Techie Hagedorn, Dong Ronquillo and Gerry Sy.
Five percent of the proceeds from the first month of the Moroccan items on display will be donated to the victims of the recent earthquake in Morocco through the Embassy of Morocco. The exhibit will run until end of December.
